Title: Metroid Prime 2 NOT on GameCube??

I know there is the Metroid Prime 2 topic, but more people will see this. here is a quote from Cube-Europe Q&A:

A: OK, here we go. Apparently Metroid Prime 2 is now being developed for the N5 as Nintendo want a Metroid game to launch with the successor to the Gamecube in the US. The new issue of Cube Magazine (UK publication which is out today) seems to back me up on this. Raven Blade apparently has been said to be in development alongside Metroid 2 and is set for a release this year. If I am telling the truth look out for an announcement at the E3 show in May. I tried to get Retro Studios to comment on this but they haven't responded to the e-mail I sent them. '

Keep in mind he DID say it was a rumour, but they may be smarter pushing it back to the launch of the next console.

Never heard of Raven Blade...though a new Metroid for the new console would be awesome.  Nintendo needs some great launch games, and hopefully the extra time available and the capabilities of the new console will allow for the game to be even better than it would be on the 'Cube.

I'm actually hoping this is true.  While an earlier release would be nice, the fact that it may be coming out as a launch title is too good to ignore.

This would actually be really good. . . I've already got my eye on too many other games at this time.

And the Raven Blade FMV looked absolutely stunning.  That is, before it was canned...Stupid Retro...They are going to turn me into a graphics whore...
