Title: GBA SP SPheadphone/charger spliter adaptor ???
Post by: Fluke Worm on January 07, 2004, 10:36:40 PM
I know this is a long shot but does anyone know of an adaptor so I may use my SP w/ headphones WHILE using the AC adaptor? Please no replies of "just deal with mono sound while charging", I CAN'T! I JUST CAN'T! That mono pingy little speaker. Don't even tell me to just wait till it's done charging THEN use the headphones, you savages.

Thank you very much. I was beginning to lose hope, my searchs were coming up nada. The Y-Cable looks like it will work, I guess I'll just give the rest of the kit contents away. . . well maybe not the Car Adapter.

actually, i use the case it comes with, and it's great. it protects the unit, and holds up to 3 extra games.

Really? Huh.?.?. Maybe Mad Catz fixed the (supposed) design flaw?

no, they didn't. the clasp still sucks. but it's not as bad as people make it out to be. you just have to be careful.

Just picked up the kit a few days ago and my thoughts are:
y-cable a must IMO, though a bit heavy for what it is, it really shouldn't have any weight.
case "the clasp"
Quote it's not as bad as people make it out to be
yea, I must say I don't see any significant problems with the clasp in the near future(for me anyway).
car adapter very handy, the cord's even long enough so your GBA SP can be used in the back seat.
headphones pretty cheappy but who doesn't have a halfway decent pair anyway.
Overall good

Today i bought a little kit from from Nyko called the Travel Kit SP and it has everything that the Macro Kit has except for the case, so if someone wants to get the headphone splitter but doesn't really want a casse then it'll save you five bucks. (Nyko is $10.00, Macro is $15.00)
