Title: CPU Question
Post by: mouse_clicker on December 18, 2003, 03:20:36 PM
In my computer I have an AMD Athlon 2500+ Barton, which runs at 1.83 ghz. At least, that's why I bought, what I was told, and what it said on the box. However, I recently downloaded Aida32 and it's telling me my processor is an AMD Athlon 1900+ Barton, and that it's running at 1.46 ghz. Is this a problem on Aida's part or do I have the wrong processor?

::EDIT:: Nevermind, I fixed it- I remembered that I had dropped my FSB from 166mhz to 133mhz a while back when I still couldn't play any games (which I can now). Sorry.

manunited: Windows and Aida32 both told me it was 1900+ running at 1.46 ghz- odd.

It's the extra 256K cache that throws it off
