A measurement unit for the power of fusion weapons, equalling a million tons of dynamite. It is also a prime example of overhype (seems to refer to some rumored game that was supposed to be the game to end all games, turned out false) and is often brought up when a person doesn't believe in a positive rumor.

If you are talking about that stupid announcment it was Jump magazines idea for a play on words that got a lot of people wound up. It was a game based off a manga they were publishing called Megaton ... something. And this is about the sixth time someone asked what it is.
The real diffenition for the word is above.

A ficticious Nintendo "annoucement" that thousands of people belived would unveil super awesome games and future plans of Nintendo Gamecube.
