I want that Zelda disk, so I tried registering my Gamecube and two of my games online, but the numbers were wrong!  Where on the GCN and the games is the number located?  I coulda sworn I had the right one...

Prehaps somone stole your keys or registered before you?  Are the games you purchased older copys that had been on the shelf for a while?

Are they 2nd hand?

I think somone might have already registered them, contact nintendo about it.

Make sure that you typed the letters in all caps.

The numbers for the games are contained on an insert in 1080: Avalanche, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga, and Mario Party 5.  It will be in a string with 4 alphanumeric fields.  3 characters, 4 characters, 4 characters, and 3 characters, for a total of 14 characters.

The number for your GameCube/GBA is located underneath the system on a white tag.  It's labelled as your serial number.

Is that the same even on the older 'Cubes?  I never registered mine before, and thats what I was trying to do now...

I've had mine since launch.  I registered it last week.    I would go downstairs and look at it to give you a more exact description, but I don't feel like taking off my GB player right now.  (Although my Mom is bringing me a BBA adaptor in a couple of hours, and I will need to take it off anyway...)
