Title: LAN parties
Post by: mjbd on November 19, 2003, 01:49:31 PM
I just bought Mario Kart, and I am already thinking about trying to get a LAN party going. Anyone if northwest Ohio interested?

Sort of makes me wish I lived in Northwest Ohio. Maybe kennyb27 (correct?) and folk can get together and have one
Have fun, though. Good luck finding enough people.

Yea, I dont think it would be to hard to get enough people for two tv's eight players, but I would like to see something where there are 24-36 people all brought together to play LAN supported games. It probably couldnt be at a house, but a rented room somewhere. If anyone is interested in getting something like this organized, let me know.

Lan parties should be between friends u know or friends of friends you know. I would never goto a Lan party I saw on the internet like a message board or something even if it was just down the street. For all I know im being lured into a trap with my GC and tv just to be stolen by some thugs (yes it has happened b4 to people).
besides it would also be near impossible to find just 1 person to come. I suggest you call up your friends, convince them all to buy MKDD and have a lan party together

i would, infact PGC forum users Mario, Infernal Monkey, Termin8Anikin and JoeyJojo got togeather on two occasions, one for the big Pokemon Ruby/Saphire pimping thing in Sydney, then again at Infernal's house for a gaming night. the interweb isn't totally full of thugs and rapists
