Title: Which Component Cables is best to use with the GC?
Post by: Smilingpsycho on November 06, 2003, 05:37:32 PM
I have two options here:  The Monster Cable or Nintendo's component cable.  The Monster cable is $35 at my local Fry's.  The Nintendo's cable is only $30 excluding shipping and stuff at their website.  The Problem is, I don't know which offers the best picture quality of the two.  Help.

MonsterCable.com doesn't list a component cable for GameCube. Their S-video cable, however, retails for $35.

Are you sure it was a component cable you saw?

Nevermind, you're right! I did make a mistake.  It was a S-Video cable.  Anyhow, comparing Monster's S-Video cable to Nintendo's component cable, which is better?

If your TV has component inputs, go for the gold and get Nintendo's component cables. It's the best quality possible on the system. And cheaper.

There is no 3rd party component cable, only Nintendo's.  So I think that makes you choice pretty obvious
