Hello everyone to my new Mafia game and it is going to be a fun one I feel. This game is a bit of a side game from the previous Resident Evil game I hosted just one month previous. This game is going to be pretty standard aside from one thing which I will get into when I go over the roles. Before we get to that we should go over the rules first for this game of Mafia.
How to play Mafia
If you are on the townie side you want to vote out the Mafia.
If you are Mafia you want to vote out the townie side.
How do I vote?
Each day I will put up the day thread and everyone will decide on who is Mafia and then vote for them. Simply type in bold for who you want to vote for for example Vote BeautifulShy. The vote is mainly used to vote out who one thinks is on the Mafia side.
If you want to change your vote then you must unbold your previous vote and make a new post while keeping your previous vote visable. un-vote BeautifulShy or Vote BeautifulShy will work; and then make a new post with your new vote.
What is a Mafia hit?
The Mafia gets to attack 1 person each night with a kill action or neighborize action. To start Albert Wesker will start with the Mafia actions on odd days and then on even days Alexia Ashford will use her neighborize actions.
What happens in the event of a tie? In the event there is a tie and the day is over then I will have a 30 minute period to break the tie. Anyone can break the tie. Be it someone unvoting for one of the players in a tie or someone who hasn't voted yet and then deciding to vote for one of the players in the tie. I will keep the 30 minute period going for that whole time and I will go with whoever has the most votes at the end. If for whatever reason there is a tie still after the 30 minute period then I will randomly choose someone alive and kill them.
Rules for the game
This game will be an open setup meaning that every single role will be known at the start of the game to those playing. Meaning you won't have to ask me if such and such a role is in the game or not.
I currently have 5 roles for the game with the remaining players being normal townies and Mafia goons.
The day period will run for 48 hours or until a majority is reached and is held for at least a hour. The night action period, in which certain roles may submit their night actions will last for 24 hours after the end of day period. After those 24 hours have passed the next day will begin. I will start the next day earlier if I get every action in and get confirmation that they don't want to change their night actions before the 24 hours are up.
Typically for my games I have a voting requirement but because of a certain role people can vote as much or as little as you like. It is up to the players to call out this sort of behavior and do something about it.
As there is two Mafia teams the two Mafia will alternate Night actions. The Organization Mafia will get odd game days to send in their actions. The Ashford Mafia will use their actions on even game days.
To win this game the Townies have to survive both Mafia and have at lease 1 player still alive to win. The Organization will need to destroy the Ashford Mafia of all of its members and have an equal or more members of the Mafia to townie players. The Ashford Mafia will need to destroy the Organization Mafia of all of its members. They will also need to have equal or more members to the remaining townie players.
In the event one Mafia team dies the remaining Mafia team will be able to use their actions each day.
I will have signups open until Midnight,January 6th AZ time(no DST). Roles will go out after signups close and I will begin the game sometime on the 7th of January.
Roles for the Game
Townie Roles

This is her story and she is searching for her brother Chris Redfield ever since she escaped from Raccoon City. She will use her investigations once each night. Claire can use her role earlier in the day period and get results back right away if you choose to do so. Claire will only get one usage of her role each game day.
(https://i.imgur.com/DQXQGcx.jpg?1) Steve Burnside: This is the Doctor for the game. Steve will be able to protect someone from death each night. He can protect someone else as many times as he likes and he also has a limited amount of self protects which will be 2 for the whole game. Steve is not the best protector as a character but he is willing to save anyone he is able to.
(https://i.imgur.com/R1jQ75m.jpg?1) Leon S Kennedy: This will be the Encryptor role. With this role Leon can PM me a message and I will post it in the day thread when they want me to. This can be used to share Leon's thoughts anonymously and it might be helpful for relaying the investigators results to the thread or possible suspicious players in the thread or other randomness. Leon received a long distance radio call from Claire Redfield and he is able to send messages to Rockfort Island. Leon can send one Encryptor message to the thread each day. It can be as long or short as they wish.
The Organization Mafia Roles
(https://i.imgur.com/PSp0zv1.jpg?1) Albert Wesker: This is The Organization Mafia Leader and he has the power of the Mafia hit. He also has the power to come back as a normal townie in investigatons. He will send in the Mafia hit on the odd days, 1,3,5 ect. Albert will have a certain amount of normal Goon Mafia members which will be determined when the sign up thread closes. If he dies, the Mafia hit will go to the goon Albert chooses. If he is voted out the hit will not go through. Albert Wesker is always going to target any survivors who know of him and his plans and those include the S.T.A.R.S members who survived. He is also looking out for himself and can't be trifled with any other people or organization. In his eyes they will all be destroyed.
Organizational Goons- These will be normal goons and the number will depend on how many players sign up for the game.
Ashford Mafia Roles
(https://i.imgur.com/0yFRfh7.jpg?1) Alexia Ashford: She is the leader of the Ashford Mafia and is a bit different than the typical Mafia Leader. She has the Neighborizer power. The Neighborizer power can be used on even days.2,4,6 ect. What it does is she will send me someone she wants to neighborize and if she is successful that player will become a goon of hers. The success rate of Neighborizing someone is 50% A flip of a coin roughly. Once she has an even amount of goons that Albert Wesker Mafia started with then she will be able to send in a hit on anyone she wants.
She will start as a team upon herself and will have to gain members by swiping other players to join her side. She can not neighborize dead players. If she is voted out then she will have no Neighborizer/Mafia Hit action that night. She will get to choose her successor and they will be able to use the Mafia hit only. Any Rolled players or Mafia that get neighborized will lose their previous power and can not use their powers for Alexia Ashford. Alexia Ashford is the sister of Alfred Ashford and is going to do anything in her power to make sure her ancestral home at Rockford Island remain free from any others which to disrupt her and her brothers home.
Ashford Mafia goons: These will be obtained by Alexia throughout the game from the alive players and there will be a 50% chance they will become goons.
Normal townies. This will be the remaining townie players without roles. They will be notified they are townies at the start of the game.

Okay and I think that covers things. If anyone has any suggestions on how I can tweak roles to make it work better let me know. Really the only one I could see which may needs tweaking is Alexia Ashford possibly.

Sounds very cool! I like the limit on using Doctor Protection on yourself, and the expanding second Mafia.

Well I went through all 213 pages of my PMs and if I ever sent you a PM or have played in a Mafia game you will have received a message about game and signups. Only exception is thatguy as he said he wasn't going to play this time around. So I have messaged 38 people about the game.
If anyone has any questions about the game or something that I may have forgotten about just post in the thread.

I did some math and with 13 players signed up there is eight normal townies so that should leave two goons for the first Mafia. I am using the 4 normal townies to one Mafia ratio. Someone correct me if that is wrong.

I also narrowed down how many self protects Steve Burnside will have for the whole game. 2 is the number of self protects and he has an protection for someone else each night.
If we stay at 15 players total we will have the 3 townie roles, 8 normal townies, Albert Wesker and two Organization Goons for the Organization Mafia and Alexia Ashford with the Ashford Mafia.
