Title: Digital Out into RGB?

So I finally got an RGB monitor. It's an Ikegami brand monitor, has ntsc and v-sync, and also (duh) RGB. A beaut from 1988!
I'd like to get the full depth of clarity using the digital-out. What do I need to know to keep everything hunky-dory? Is it something about the refresh rate, or hz? Or something?
