Opps sorry bout the post i accidently pushed enter. So my dog chewed the cord on one of my gamecube controllers and now it doesn't work. He then chewed on the analog stick on another one of my gamecube controllersand now its all bumpy and crappy. What I am trying to do is take the analog stick from the one that doens't work and then put it in the one that does work. The screws of course are security screws which sucks ass. I was wondering if any of you know what I should do.
Thank you,
Moe

You need to get a GameBit screwdriver, which you can buy at almost any online gaming store. Or you can find a hex wrench at any hardware store and use one of the smallest hexes.(A hex wrench is basically a swiss army knife, except the "knives" are metal prongs that are hexagon shaped)

Bill - The controller has Tri-Wing screws, not GameBit screws.

LMAO! Too true Perm.
Tael - Those type of screws are known as Game screws, because they are really only used on Nintendo systems. The device that unscrews them is known as a gamebit.
Soccer, it sounds to me that you need to buy a gun to remove the damned dog, but you can buy a gamebit here if that's really what you want to do. Swords can be bought here, which to be perfectly honest, would be far more useful in this situation.

I just went down to check on my controllers and console. The controllers seem to use the same type of screws as the GBA, which I found that substituting a 1.4mm flathead screwdriver worked just fine. The console was a mystery, as I couldn't find a single exposed screw.
Anyways, I am going to chug the rest of my beer and go to bed.

Well, I am glad that you got it worked out... but just curious... why did your Dad get mad? I just don't really understand what you mean.

I thought my parents over-reacted alot, but getting mad at what kind of screws you have in your controller is just WRONG.

Yeah, I am not really sure why he got mad. It could also be talking to strange people on the internet, but I am not really sure, as we all behaved ourselves in this thread.
