The people that deserted Nintendo and bought an XBox for Perfect Dark must be pissed that it's not even coming out on that system either.
You'd think people that have a gamecube - with it originally supposed to be on gamecube and may have been a big reason they bought one - and have been following Perfect Dark since N64 would want to know...

Anyway, either this is ALL RARE'S FAULT, or MS wanted to do this. They knew that people bought an Xbox for PD so now they want people to buy an X2 for the same reason. Of course da peeps will get pissed and abandon MS. Seeing as how MS makes bad decisions left and right, this is entirely possible.

Maybe Nintendo was smart to get rid of Rare. There's no point in having Rare if they can't get the games released before 2005 (end of this generation).

For one, even when PD0 was still listed under GC, it still had 2005 as a date. Which would have been the launching of GC2.
Second, that's prior to the new look, the anime style. Why did MS or Rare decide to go with that look? Maybe because of the developement time--though it's not cel-shading like everyone is thinking (unless it's a new method since it has multiple colors + fading).
But yeah, with slew of FPS on the xbox, you really don't need too many more--platformers will brand name is what's needed because games like Voodoo Vince isn't going to sell.

Actually PD was a million seller, so wasn't conkers for that matter--that's why it was a player's choice game on the N64 (which only applied to million sellers unlike the GC player choice games, IE spiderman.

Bungie revieled that they dont want to make a Halo 3 and instead make a different series. So Xbox users get their last taste of Halo in Halo 2 i guess.

This is Rare, the company who are masters of publicity stunts and backflips. Take everything they say with a grain of salt. I'm not saying that they'll release PD0 tomorrow, but its not gone. They have a habit of delaying and postponing to get their work to their own high standards and that hasn't changed much over time.
But Fable? I think that concept is too intricate to make into a game to be released this decade.
