Title: Timesplitters 2 controls
Post by: Mario on September 16, 2003, 07:23:27 PM
Argh, i cant quite seem to find a control setup i like. Right now im using the c-stick to look and turn and the control stick to run and sidestep, but its just so hard to aim with my right hand using the c-stick. I tried swapping them around, it makes it easier to aim, but heaps harder to walk and control yourself. This is really annoying me, the c-stick is terrible in this game.
What control setups does everyone use for Timesplitters 2?

The C-stick is fine for me. I didn't like it either when I first started playing it; you just need to get used to it
I use the standard Joystick(forward, backward, sidestep) and C-stick(look up, left, down, right) setup. Though I did configure it so that when I am aiming the c-stick makes me move forward and the joystick looks around.(Because I couldn't aim accurately otherwise...)

Yeah i configured it that way too, i like to aim with the control stick when i press L to aim.
And ive been playing this game for the last year , so dont tell me to get used to it. Its just been irritating me lately.

I agree with Bill. TS2 was my first console FPS and I nearly tore my fingernails out. I kept looking over my shoulder at the keyboard and mouse and sighing.
