Title: Fourth Smash Ultimate DLC Character Originating From SNK?

This only narrows it down to about 200 fighting game veterans and the Metal Slug dudes.

A copyright slipup from Nintendo of Europe appears to have nailed down the publisher of the Smash Bros character to follow Banjo and Kazooie.

Freelance writer and Source Gaming founder @PushDustin first located a page on Nintendo's European website, which lists the copyright of the character as SNK. For comparison, the same page for Hero lists their copyright as Armor Project, Bird Studio, and SquareEnix.

The website text doesn't narrow down the list any further, though infamous SNK boss Geese Howard recently crossed over into Tekken 7 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

I can't think of a single worthwhile SNK character really worth adding. I mean, it would have to be Terry Bogard or Mai Shiranui, wouldn't it?

I’d pick Mai Shiranui just to have more female representation in Super Sausage Fest Ultimate though I acknowledge the difficulty of including a character that is 83% tit. Maybe it’s Athena just to mess with everyone. Not sure we need another sword and shield fighter though.

I’ve already given Nintendo my money for the DLC characters so I don’t really care which are selected. An SNK rep is still an odd choice. The DLC characters seem to be selected either by overwhelming fan request or marketing purposes. No rep from SNK fits either criteria. I think it’d be funny if the listing on the character page was a mistake and the SNK copyright was actually for Mii costumes.

Metal Slug could be a good one to throw in, especially if the doom slayer isn't in as rumors suggest.

I believe SNK is basically the last major third party to not have some kind of representation in smash

I would love Terry or Mai.  I think you can actually do a subtle version of her that isn't exploitive.  Also, it adds to the fun.  Some of these 3rd party DLC characters make me wish they had a 2nd representative with them.  Ryu and Ken work great together.  Terry and May would be great together.

If Terry gets picked, I hope the CG Reveal trailer is a take on this spectacular bit of 90s cheese from the Fatal Fury anime movie.

The only SNK character I want is Fio Germi if for no other reason than to spam "Rocket Launcher"

I have always enjoyed playing as Nakoruru in the Samurai Shodown series. She is small and is quick and she also has two ways of attacking with a short sword and a hawk and I think she would be a great fighter for the Smash series.
