"What are ya buyin'? What are ya sellin'?" "Uh, three games and a kidney respectively."

The Switch will be getting a whole lot more frightening on May 21.

Capcom have announced that the three Resident Evil titles announced for Switch last year - remastered versions of RE0, the original, and Resident Evil 4 - will all release on May 21. An "Origins Collection" with 0 and 1 will be available at retail, while 4 will be eShop only for now.

With the Switch release, RE4 will have been sold on four consecutive Nintendo consoles: following its debut on the GameCube, it was ported to the Wii with optional motion controls, while the Wii U had a downloadable version of the Wii game available on its eShop.

What version of RE1 and RE4 are these?  I don’t see where they said remastered or HD in their twitter announcement.

The image specifies "Resident Evil HD Remaster" for the original, and I don't think even Capcom would be so brazen as to port the Wii game to Switch, resolution and all.

Update: Looks like the Biohazard version in Japan will be 0 on the cart and the original as a download. If that holds for NA, that'd be the complete opposite of how Capcom normally does it, so good for them.

Some parts haven’t aged well like pausing to switch weapons and heal. I’d still recommend it.

I thought it was $30 on Wii. At least we got a physical disc. I would have paid $30 for a physical version because I’m an a-hole who triple dips on 14 year old games.
