Title: Gamestop.com and Soul Calibur 2...

Has anyone else pre-ordered SC2 from Gamestop.com? I did back in July, and today I found out my order is on hold because SC2 is "back-ordered". I mean, seriously, why did I bother pre-ordering it almost two months early? And it's not that I don't mind waiting for it, but now I'm worried I might not get the art book, which I was looking forward to checking out.
Has anyone gotten their copy from GS.com yet?

I was about to because of that book art, but found out that another store had a premotion that said if you pre-ordered Soul Calibur now you would get 15 dollars off the game. So all I have to pay now is 30 dollars which is nice.

If I were you I would complain, especailly if you didn't get the book art, which I'm sure won't happen.

Don't worry about it saying backordered.  They shipped preorder copies out today and if you got overnight shipping, you will get it tomorrow.  The same thing happened to one of my orders.  It said backordered but they actually shipped it.  It should give you a tracking number later tonight.

I'm going to pick mine up at GameStop tomorrow, I'll letcha know what happens, if anything.

I'm getting mine also tomorrow. Before noon. But what gets me is that Soul Calibur 2 for the PS2 was already in when I picked up my F-Zero today.

Yeah same here Paladin. I wasn't too happy about that either. I could have gotten the PS2 or X-box version, bleh....I want Link. Besides the GC version has the best frame rate. What sucks is that I work tomorrow, so I won't be able to pick mine up until Thursday. I go into work before Gamestop opens and get off after they close....go figure. Maybe I can get my brother to get it. If I give him my ID and credit card it should work. People think we look like anyway. Yes I want SC2 that bad : ) F-Zero is completely astounding BTW
