From The Legendary Frog, the creator of classics such as 8-bit theater and that funny zelda one, comes another instant classics.  Hosted on the site that is newgrounds.com, comes...

FF Tribute - Chocobo Mix

My favorite newgrounds creation so far.

Well, that's certainly an oldie.    I first saw that one last year sometime.

My favorite NG movies would have to be the "8 Bit Theatre" movies, "The Portal", "The Void", "Banana Beard", and "The Grim Reaper Show".

Pretty much anything by TLF, ClockClock, Blue Clock, or Matzerath will be worth your time.

Here are some to check out.

B (The one that started it all.  )

The Void

The Void pt 2

8 Bit Theater

8 Bit Theater 2

8 Bit Theater 3

Banana Beard

The Portal

Super Console Wars

Super Console Wars 2

The Grim Reaper Show (don't watch if you are religious)

The Grim Reaper Show 2 (same as above)

*phew*.  That's the best of Newgrounds, right there.  (Aside from Simgirl of course)

ok B was the biggest waste of time ever, a movie with the letter B displayed doing nothing...

the Void pt 1 was good, it's truly something someone on drugs made, extremely messed up but interesting.
when I have time I'll check out more...
i mostly added these comments to bump this so I can come back and check the rest of the movies out hehe

Heh, I saw that quite a long time ago -- still have it saved on my hard drive. Still very funny though.

B is great!  That's my kind of humor right there.

why do you enjoy downloading a movie, and all it does is display a red b?
i find it funny for about a millisecond, then the humor is gone.
i'm not saying it's not funny, but it was such a short amount of humor
that it did not illicit a small smile.

I listed B because it was the one that started a huge movement on Newgrounds.

B was a crappy flash movie made by Strawberry Clock.  For some strange reason, it was never blammed, and it gained quite a lot of notoriety on newgrounds.  Slowly, there became other flash artists who started going by clock names.  In a sense, that movie was the one that created the unofficial mascots of newgrounds.  You can read the whole story on Newgrounds, but it's ancient history now.  Fact of the matter is that now the Clocks run the place, and they generally have some pretty high quality and funny movies these days.  Clock Day is a day that celebrates the anniversary of the movie "B" being submitted, and it just recently passed.  On Clock Day, newgrounds is themed completely in Clock style, and all the clocks submit their works of art for the rest to see.  This year was the second anniversary, and lots of good ones were submitted.

Search for Clock on newgrounds, and you will find like 10 billion movies.  Many of them are crappy, but many of them are good.  Since a lot of movies in my list are clock movies, I included B, with the hopes that you would pick up on what was going on when watching The Void.  Unfortunately, all the references to B seem to have fallen flat on y'all.

Anyways, does it make sense now?
