Title: Looking for a game suggestion
Post by: Tarr on August 17, 2003, 09:00:01 PM
Well I'm looking to buy a new game and have no idea what to get. I'm looking for a adventure type game. I currently own Mario Sunshine, Starfox Adventures, and Zelda: WW.  Are their any games that are a cross between Mario and Zelda? I think maybe like Vexx which I do plan on renting. Are their any other notable games like that or am I S.O.L. as far as the GC goes. I do also own a PS2. Any suggestions for that that would meet the criteria I just mentioned? Thank you for any help.

on the ps2 there is ratchet and clank (which is great) and jak and daxter (also great)
i think there is a new jak and daxter coming out pretty soon but you would have to cheak on that
if you want a really good adventure game on the gc, then get eternal darkness- not only is it one of the better games on the gc, it is also one of the cheeper titles to buy- it is a very good game and highly suggested

I too would strongly recommend Eternal Darkness:Sanity's Requiem, most retailers that still have it in stock sell it for the unbelievable price of $14.99 - a steal!!! (GameStop, EB and BestBuy, mostly. Circuit City still sells it for $49.99!)

It's an adventure game with a survivial horror element that takes you deeper than any other game in the genre. It has one of the most thought out story lines I ever encountered in a game. The graphics are great, although the character designs are a bit pointed. Silicon Knights did an outstanding job with this game. The incredible amount of detail they put into the envoirnments and backgrounds is just amazing. The is one of the most beautiful games you could ever play, honestly!
