Title: Is Sheik male or female??

Could someone please fill me in here??  I know in OoT it says male, but in SSBM it says female??  What's right??

In Ocarina of time you are meant to think Sheik is male but infact Sheik is actually Female.

Sheik is princess Zelda in disguise when you get to the end of Orarina it is revealed to you.

Shiek the character is supposed to be male but is actually Zelda, a female, in disguise.
