Title: Need help choosing a baseball game
Post by: Highlander on August 07, 2003, 05:53:06 PM
I am new to Gamecube and I'm looking to purchase a baseball game. I'm not big on having a franchise like in All Start Sports, just playing a good baseball game. I actually originally got hooked playing baseball on Super Monkey Ball 2, I liked being able to adjust the pitches as well as moving the batter around in the box & timing the swing. I have looked at Home Run King and High Heat and would appreciate any suggestions.

High Heat has always managed good reviews. However, with the bankrupcy of 3DO, the future of the series and even the 2004 game is still a question mark. I've played some of MVP Baseball 2003 and I wasn't impressed with the hitting.

All Star Baseball is definately where you want to look in terms of real b-ball. Franchise mode will last you well into the next release. There are some glitches, but i've managed to get over them.

If you have a xbox or Ps2 Sega's World Series baseball is good.
