Well, I could care less if all the Sony boys are missing out, but I will be happily playing Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes.  That's really my "Must have" for the end of this year.  There are others, but that's my current top priority.

their is no chance of that happening, but at least thier will be plenty of good games for the cube, which is the only thing that should matter.

I don't have much to say about the topic at hand, but I was just reminded that my sister's a huge Getup Kids fan.

alot of kids won't shell out the money for a system other than their ps2, until the GC's price is very low.
sure, with all the great games we will get ps2 owners buying gc's this year, but it won't be
huge numbers.

The cube won't be king (in terms of numbers), thats just the facts of life, but it does have some great games coming out, as well as an awsome library that was build last year.  I love my cube, and although not the mainstreams favorite I think we know which one is the favorite around here.

Not to deliberatly change the thread, but I want to know why you guys all love Nintendo and plan on sticking with them next gen despite the shortcomings and the negative comments we hear from ... whoever?

Because... Well, they're not limited to FPS/RTS/Sports games like the PC. I think it's true what some say: The GC has the broadest lineup of genres. Not the most RPGs or FPSs, but definitely a good game in almost every genre out there. Noticed how three of the four most wanted games on XBox (Halo 2, Half-Life 2, Doom 3, Fable) are egoshooters?

And at least three of them will be available for the computer at some point in time (not sure about Fable).

Molyneaux wants Fable to be released on PC...

yeah ofcourse ill stick with nintendo, and will continue too untill they dont give me games i want to play (and i dont see that happening for a while!)

also, no 1 console is 'king' each have their own good and bad points, and can all entertain different people, cube for us, ps2 for ps2 people etc.

would be nice for nintendo to win again though but aslong as they stay in the black, and keep putting out fun games, they will still have fans (like me!)

It would be nice to see that happening, but remember, PS2 and Xbox both have good games coming this fall.  So all the PS2 and Xbox fanboys will again be blinded and will not see Nintendo's greatness.  Sad really, but there's not much we can do about.
