Title: Kotaku: Mario/Rabbids crossover is a real thing.
Post by: Soren on May 02, 2017, 04:14:36 PM
Noted game delayer Jason Schreier has been sent art assets by a source that confirm the existence of the rumored Mario and Rabbids RPG crossover.

- Called "Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle"
- Uses Ubi's proprietary Snowdrop Engine (The Division, South Park Butthole Pun Game)
- Turn-based combat
- Local co-op because of course
- Wacky things like Mario holding laser beam guns and the Rabbids dressed as Mario characters taking up four slots in the character select screen.

This news doesn't interest me at all. Call me when there's a playable demo.

Is this the sequel to Legend of the Seven Stars?

Who cares if there's no playable demo?

No, they are remastering Legend of the Seven Stars sequel on the 3DS.

Are you referring to the Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga DX data found on the 3DS eshop?

1. Legitimate question: are we considering Superstar Saga to be a sequel to Legend of the Seven Stars? I always viewed it as a separate RPG spinoff series.

2. I'd rather have Superstar Saga on Switch. whydontwehaveboth.gif

3. I'm not a Rabbids fan or anything, but I'd probably still buy this because Mario.

In the same way that the sequel to a gourmet dinner is taking a dump.

This will be one I'll have to wait on reviews for.

The rumor peddlers win again, it seems.

Perhaps it refers to the time taken, as it is something you say when excusing yourself in fine company.

I generally enjoy wackiness, so I might be interested in this.

Well it's... different. I think. It's not the megaton we wanted, but it's the one we deserve.
