I believe like 2 months ago or so nintendo of Europe let it slip that paper mario was coming out for the GC. Has there been any new news on this game. Is it a new paper mario? is it a port? thanks for any info

No, there has been no news on any type of Mario RPG for the cube. Although you could sorta say that MArio and Luigi for GBA could sorta be a follow-up to Paper Mario cuz they are 2D...but the stories probably aren't linked. But hopefully we get news of a Mario RPG for cube! That would be awesome. Plus, where is my Legend of the 7 Stars for GBA already...geez

It will most definitely be first revealed at the next E3 if it exists. Unfortunately, Ninty now only wants to show games at game shows if they are to be released that year.

Nintendo Europe listed it for GCN on their releases page a while back. And yes, it's not Mario and Luigi for GBA.
And no, we haven't heard anything about it since then.

i hope it really is a real game- paper mario was basically the only good rpg on the n64, but it was also one of my favs it had an interesting battle system with all the timing and the dungeons and puzzles were pretty cool mario and luigi seems to be the follow up to that game on the n64- hopefully though there is a new mario rpg on the gc
