Despite the explosions and destruction, miraculously, most of the players from Safe Words 11 were actually able to survive. Finally, after 11 terrifying battles, it appeared the menace of Safe Words was over, imploding in on itself due to the misdirection of its megalomaniacal host. Sure, the destruction done to the forums was significant but there was a feeling of optimism in the air. Now that the Safe Words Tournaments were over, a feeling of freedom swelled up in the hearts of the forum-goers and a sense that this time they could make a Funhouse worth visiting.
Unfortunately, a sinister force was already at work. The Universal Conglomerate known as Big Nintendo was preparing to launch a new unit of technology to enslave the masses and bring them further under their control. But, in order to do so, they wanted to do some market research on what was most successful about their previous mind control device in order to make sure this new technology had it in its arsenal. And as everyone in the universe knows, the only way to get successful market research is to put people's lives on the line through a game of Safe Words. Thus, Nintendo dispatched their most terrifying agent, the dread lord Khushrenada, to go to the NWR Funhouse and gather up a new group of victims to conduct this survey.
Seeing the Khushrenada megaship touch down, the Funhouse users whimpered, "No, not again!" and began to take off. However, Khushrenada was having none of it! Sending out his battalion of R.O.B.ot Soldiers, he began rounding up a new group of Safe Words "players" to complete his mission while the rest of the forums could only watch and wonder who might survive this time.

I don't know how to play but I am amused by the idea of Nintendo conducting market research here. I assume, because Nintendo, that this is the only forum in which the research will be done.
As such, I will sign up. It is my duty to let Uncle Ninty know that motion controls are exactly what the market has been clamoring for. As long as the rumble feature gets a fine-tune, they'll be Gold!

Rules, rules, rules. This has come up before with people wondering the rules. Now where did I put them? *opens fridge and rifles through papers stored in it* Ah, there we are. I've used this post to explain things before. Let's try it again:
"My thinking was that it might be fun to do something like musical chairs or hot potato. However, how can you do that without music and just text? Moreover, if you just have people posting things and the host/moderator of the game suddenly says stop, how do you know that the host was always planning to stop things at that point or if they are manipulating things so that certain people win and certain people lose? Well, clever son-of-a-gun that I am, I think I've stumbled on the solution.
The way the game will work is as follows. Let's say that 10 players sign up. (Which is asking a lot these days but a man can dream.) I will then post a list of 10 random words and the game will begin. The players who signed up will each choose one of the random words posted. The order can be determined by sign-up order or by randomly shuffling the names and getting a pecking order that way. Player 1 would then choose a word and post it. Player 2 would choose a word and post it and so on and so on. You can't choose a word that another player has already chosen. From the 10 words listed, 1 would be selected as a bomb or hot potato. The player who chooses that word would then be eliminated from that round and out of the game. The bomb word would also be stricken from the list."
From the remaining 9 words, another 1 of those words would be secretly chosen as the bomb word and the remaining 9 players would each select a word again starting with the next player in the rotation from where the previous round ended.
Make sense? It's really easy to figure it out once you start playing. Or just look up past Safe Words games in the Funhouse and read through a thread or two. I think you'll get it that way.

The bullet word is removed from the list and a new word is selected from the list to act as the bullet for the next round. Players then select words again until someone is eliminated. This process is repeated until only one person remains and is declared the winner.

Well, enjoy the trip. The nice thing about Safe Words is once you know your rotation, it makes it easy to check in and be aware of when you may be up and doesn't require a lot of time like Mafia.
And that is everyone I was waiting to hear from so I can start this thing up later today.
