Title: Episode 146: Podcast Babies
Post by: TheYoungerPlumber on November 14, 2016, 05:36:37 PM

Don't be a turkey! Dig into what quite possibly may be the last episode of Radio Trivia before the New Year and stuff(ing) with TYP and Zach Miller.

Did you like this episode's game selections? Let your fellow listeners know in TalkBack! Think you've got a better choice that hasn't been used yet? Then send it my way and your request might be on the next episode of Radio Trivia: Podcast Edition!  Heck, throw in a question and specific songs if you want.  Just remember, it has to be a game found on a Nintendo system in North America (unless we say otherwise)!

Games featured in this episode:

  1. Mighty Switch Force 2 (3DS)
  2. Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE (Wii U)
  3. Home Improvement: Power Tool Pursuit (SNES)
  4. BIT.TRIP Presents...Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien (Wii U)
  5. Godzilla (GB)

I got lots of gaming done when my daughter was born.  Usually during the middle of the night while holding her in a rocking chair, using one hand for a Wii remote.  Thank goodness for one-handed gaming... not sure how I would've made it through some of those long nights otherwise.

Any particular Wii games that worked well one-handed that you can recommend?

I spent a lot of time with Animal Crossing City Folk, Endless Ocean (this always put us both to sleep), and some of the TellTale games (Sam & Max and Monkey Island come to mind in particular).  Opoona and Zack & Wiki are also good one-handed options - but I didn't play them much at that time.

Feels like there should be more on that list... but lack of sleep makes my memory of that time is kind of hazy. I'd bet that a google search would bring up other options if I weren't so lazy.
