The first of the month brings a new slate of My Nintendo rewards.

For North America, the following discount offers have been added, all available through February 1:

I want Ultimate NES Remix but even with that discount it will cheaper to just get it on Amazon...

Love the idea of keeping a copy of Earthbound on my 3DS.  Also considering Xenoblade 3D.  I started the original, but I don't think I'm far enough so that starting over would be a pain.

I've been wanting to get Xenoblade Chronicles 3D for a while now.  There was a big Christmas eshop sale last year, and I believe X3D was included, but I was new to the system, and made a bad choice by getting something else instead. Knowing I wouldn't be able to sink a lot of time into it anyway, I've been waiting to see if it would be part of a Christmas deal this year around. I'll be getting it by Feb 1 one-way-or-another.

It's clearly not, for me. I don't find any of the rewards appealing, and simply choose not to participate. But to each their own.


Semi-related:  I'm still disappointed that Xenoblade (Wii VC) never went on sale in North America the way it did at release in Europe, and don't consider this discount anywhere near a reasonable substitute.

It's substantially worse than Club Nintendo, at least for the consumer.

For Canada, that basically knocks the game down to the US price. So... thanks, I guess?

Also, they added an Isbaelle theme today (Wednesday). Wah wah.

Buying games in Canada sucks right now.  :(
On the upside, I've got a fantastic backlog and am totally enjoying it.  :)
