Title: How many people have you convinced into buying a GameCube?

I just thought this would be interesting. Sorry if I break any rules for this threat but im new here

i convinced my friend to buy an xbox..because i have a gamecube...and i am the only one in the world that needs a gamecube muwahahahahahah. Also i needed someone with the ability to play fable when it comes out.

maybe 1 of my friends, not many of my friends are into gameing, well they will play games, but they wont get a console, but my mate who has a dreamcast/ps2 wants a gamecube, so i told him to get one

I have told two friends to get a GCN, and they both got one. Great games, great system, good price.

i have persuaded 3 people to get gamecubes. and there are 2 more that are definitely thinking about it. there are certain people that wouldnt like a gamecube as much as a ps2 though, so i tell them like it is. those people are mostly rpg'ers though....ahahah or fobs that like ddr...hahahahahaha

At least 8 or so.
I worked (past tense) in a general office building and alot of co-workers ask little ole me about what console to buy for husbands or their children.
I also tell them about deals that go around. I know a few of them hopped on the GBA-GC deal back in Nov/Dec (not talking about the GBP but the orginal GBA) that a few retailers were doing.
In fact there's another great deal going on at target this week. Buy a GC and get $50 gift card. .

With the exception of course of everyone on these forums, I know 3 people that own a Cube, two of which I was partially responsible for. I have one other person calling the Cube "precious" (LOL ISILDUR, GOLLUM, AND FRODO!). I think I may be able to persuade him. And then I know someone else who used to be strictly Nintendo, but when the PS2 came out.... so sad. He called the GCN "an N64 with discs". Ignorant little...nevermind. Anyways, now he's played Super Smash Bros. Melee and he was stunned at its graphical beauty. And if he wants good graphics, PS2 isn't exactly the best option.

I have posted on 2 forums about this week's deal on the GC (best deal yet), so depending on how many people read my post, I may have made quite a large amount of sales.

One. I've convinced one person. And it was me. I feel proud because I believe I am the best possible person I could've convinced to buy a Gamecube. Except for maybe Bill Gates. Actually, I bet he already has one.

I have converted one. Everyone else is so stubbornly attached to their PS2, Xbox and PC, or already has a Gamecube

I've convinced 1 person so far to buy a GameCube, a friend of mine played Animal Crossing and he immediately went out and bought one. One PS2 owner down, over 50 million more to go.

I convinced 3 here. All you need to show them some of Nintendo magic and they follow like sheep mostly cause of all of Nintendo's funtastic games and alot of great exclusives from 3rd parties.

You know its really one of the hardest things to convince someone of buying a GCN, atleast the mainstream gamer which is almost everyone. And most of my friends arent hardcore gamers, which is good, because the ones I know are all super dorks.

I have convinced many, many people to purchase a Nintendo GameCube. I am happy to say that all of the people I recommended the GC to love it and play it often. Even my friends who were once "Sony Nazis" are now convinced that Nintendo is back on the right track with this fantastic little game machine
