An absolutely insane twin-stick shooter that's all about time.

The eShop is about to pick up a major programming challenge.

4 Corner Games announced first details of their new title tonight on Nintendo World Report's live stream for E3 - Monochrono, a shaded twin stick shooter. The game will feature ten second levels with the option to slow time by one-third to plan shots and evade large quantities of enemy fire, while the player's ship moves at normal speed the whole time.

Launching next year on Wii U as well as other platforms (PlayStation 3/4/Vita, Xbox One, Windows/Mac/Linux and "other unannounced platforms"), the game will also feature local multiplayer (for two players), an endless survival mode, and a challenge mode.

No gameplay video? Sounds kind of interesting though.

No full disclosure?

Kidding! A guest of a site's show is just a guest.

Hope this game turns out well.

Eh, she's been introduced as a "friend of the site" a few times. That's a pretty non-trailer with words, though.
