ive been lookign through the net and soem sites are rather confused. They are saying that some words are the US spellings and not the canadian or british versions. Well i'll say something some words like Grey/Gray are annomolies. It really depends on who taught you how to spell. in fact the pronuctiation of those two words are different. ey makes a softer shorter noise and ay makes a longer harder noise. There are people named Ray and Rey. I was readign an article and it was like only canadians use Storys/Storeys when reffering to the "levels" of a building when americans use floors. That is not true. I bet most people use both. Perhaps when your outside the bulding and are talking about its multi tiered number you would refer to its storys/storeys/stories(lol). When your inside you will prolly be like ok we'll take the elevator and/or stairs to reach the next floor or maybe youll say story.....whichever word pops in your head first lol.
there is a few definite dfferences...unlike the one listed above..and that is ofcoarse
honor/honour armor/armour
theater/theatre center/centre
even more confusing annomily(perhaps maybe annomoly is an anomolie)

This one totally cracked me up. I remember in elementary school I used to question us learning on Apples when everyone in business was using PCs and thus PC was the future. My teacher essentially told me I was full of sh!t (with more PG language thankfully) and laughed it off. WELL WHO'S LAUGHING NOW B!TCH! It should be noted that this same teacher taught us that peanuts grew on trees which pissed me off so much I actually went to the library, looked up peanuts in the encyclopedia, and proved her wrong in front of the whole class.

Oh yeah. You didn't try any sh!t with me. Once in elementary school a kid snitched on me for something I didn't do and the teacher made me write an essay about what I did wrong. Naturally I pleaded innocent in my essay and sure enough got in more trouble. My high school principal hated me because I treated him like an idiot but technically I never did anything wrong so he couldn't punish me or anything. Any of my mature and intelligent teachers all thought I was great though. This only really lasted in elementary and high school though. Once I got to college I quickly learned that if I wanted to keep my grades up I had to shut up and pretend to blindly accept anything.
Oh and once in kindergarden some kid pissed me off so I pushed a wall of heavy wooden blocks on him. That was really funny.
Oh and the teacher wasn't old either. She was like in her thirties and was probably younger than my parents.
