Haha- for I second I thought these were Japanese sales statistics. I was wondering why all the top selling games organized by consoles, and those were some weird numbers.
Anyway, it looks like they didn't enjoy Crystal Chronicles too much, but those Japs really liked Midtown Madness. Makes you wonder why the Xbox is bombing over there when they rated a game exclusive to it very well and a Final Fantasy title lower.

Wow, Pokemon pinball must be pretty good. Guess I'll have to check it out when it's finally released in the U.S.

I sent the FFCC review through a translator and below is the transcript:
As for graphics clean, as for atmosphere fresh, also the system surface secure There is no refreshing impression in the battle which occupies the most of the game Enjoyment of growth of ƒLƒƒƒ‰, you cannot feel the achievement impression of explaining setting up There is no part which it can intervene in the story and the event and just accumulates "the drop" intently "You are surprised" to being ventured and almost there is no "discovery" Multiple number of people just increase as for the story which is done are same As for how to show the world view taste Battle with "in the cursor adjusting is too simple beginning and ending" The scene which forces the repetition conduct on the system is many Ability in the growth element which action is difficult to realize doubt

Uh, yeah. Cool. I also thought as for how to show the world view taste.
Wow, I had high hopes for this game. Oh well, I;m still looking forward to it, and I'll wait till it's released here so I can see what PGC thought of it.

I think the problem is SOME reviewers aren't going to grasp the concept that this is a different kind of Final Fantasy game. They're going to tear it apart for not having some of the elements of the main titles and fail to appreciate what it has that the main titles don't. I think it will MOSTLY get very positive reviews though. Dengeki really liked it. Two of its four reviewers gave the game a 9 out of 10 and it got a 33/40 overall. I'm betting Famitsu will like it too. Most importantly, I think the Japanese gamers will be drawn to its innovative mutliplayer mode (the GBA requirement won't be an issue since EVERYONE in Japan has one) and the game will sell a lot better than most are predicting and have many sequels down the road.

according to my sources (mario on this forum ) Gabe really liked FF:CC, either way im still going to give this game a go.
also 'teh f4k3 m4r10' translating it somehow made it more confusing than attempting to read the japanese, literal translations DO NOT WORK, if they did, sites like wouldn't exist Engrish
