Presenting a couple of future RFN Now Playing stars.

So in this first download launch of the quarter, the releases tend toward the weird. The big gun on Wii U is Lovely Planet, the trippy first person shooter that copped a Tuesday release in the eShop and gets the Nindies@Home discount to go along with it (until May 5). But the other... interesting… games this week including an emoji matching puzzle game and something called Epic Dumpster Bear. Standard disclaimer applies: I am not making that up.
The 3DS will be getting a nice little fashion design sim this week with Doll Fashion Atelier from our friends at Teyon. The (New) 3DS Virtual Console returns next week, but this week the Wii U adds Game and Watch Gallery 4 which includes Game and Watch versions of Donkey Kong 3, Mario Bros and an original Zelda title.
In Europe, prodigious RPG publishers Kemco bring their talents to the Wii U eShop this week with Asdivine Hearts, plus the aforementioned Lovely Planet and a couple of intriguing pickups from previous weeks in North America: Aksys’s Chronicles of Teddy: Harmony of Exidus and Circle’s Witch and Hero 2. In Virtual Console news, shake the night away with Wario Land: The Shake Dimension from the Wii. Notably, it appears that Mario and Sonic Rio 3DS is physical only for Europe.
