UPDATED: You can now get your Miitomo going
Nintendo Account registration is now open.
The new service went live just before 10pm Eastern time, and load time may be slight due to the early rush, but you can create the account at accounts.nintendo.com.
At present, the account functions are limited to establishing a nickname and linking social accounts, but there are references to "mission status" being lost if the account is closed. Other functions, such as My Nintendo and registration for Miitomo, should be live shortly.
UPDATE 6:35am Eastern: Miitomo registration can now be completed at miitomo.com. Pre-registering will earn you Platinum points for My Nintendo.
I don't have a cell phone, and am not interested in anything mobile-related.You will need a Nintendo Account for My Nintendo, which is the Club Nintendo replacement.
Is this something I need to do? Really not feeling excited about it.
I never get the email either in my regular inbox or spam folder.
Its nice to see the new account system. Miitomo sounds like it could be fun too, but I dont have an iOS or Android device.I wish I did. I rechecked my email and I didn't typo the thing.I never get the email either in my regular inbox or spam folder.
I got the email straight away.
I still don't really understand what Miitomo even is
Am I the only one having issues? I've tried three times now. They state they are emailing me a code to input on the site. I never get the email either in my regular inbox or spam folder. Then it states it doesn't work after an hour. Well if they never send me the email with the code, how could I complete it in an hour?
This has also been happening to me. Do you two happen to have Yahoo email accounts? From looking around, it seems this is the cause of the issue.Am I the only one having issues? Then when I checked my email this morning, found that a few were sent at 3 and 5 am. Tried using them but they had both expired. I've tried requesting a verification codes again and haven't received any. To me, this site is even worse than Club Nintendo.

We might have to change our emails to get it to work, unless Nintendo can figure out a way to fix it.
