Title: Yearly Platinum/Activision game (Transformers Devastation, upcoming TMNT)
Post by: azeke on December 29, 2015, 10:19:50 PM
Korra already had a thread (http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/forums/index.php?topic=45131.0).
Transformers came out this year and was pretty cool: (http://static.srcdn.com/slir/w786-h393-q90-c786:393/wp-content/uploads/Transformers-Devastation.jpg) (http://www.technobuffalo.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Transformers-Devistation-leak-9.jpg)
TMNT is next year and we have an art: (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CXb-A8MVAAEFCFZ.png:large) XBLA art is taken from one of the covers in contemporary IDW comic series by Mateus Santolouco (http://santolouco.deviantart.com/): (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CXb-BxGUoAAmlBb.png:large)

Camera is placed low, like in Ninja Gaiden and Metal Gear Revengeance, hopefully Platinum learned some lessons from terrible camera in MGR and will do it right this time. Not enough gameplay clips to tell anything else.
Leaked details mention something about online co-op mode. This sounds similar to online mode Bayonetta 2 had.
We’ve put a lot more into this game than just combat: you can climb walls, glide along wires, and there’s a lot of freedom of movement that ties into the action. With this game, players will be able to feel like they’re the Turtles themselves, running, grinding, and gliding around NYC to prevent crimes

New trailer and date (May 24th! so soon!):
Game looks more open-worldly than i expected, almost Batman-like especially with Detective Vision equivalent:
Co-op abilities look like something from MMO, very messy looking...

Yeah the co-op stuff sounds very cool in theory but the AI seems to be screwing him over in single player. Interesting to see a four player action game though.
