If so, what are you going as?
I am not. Last time I did was fourth grade and I was the White Power Ranger. :)

I am not dressing up but my roommates are throwing a huge Halloween party at our house, lots of costumed freaks, plus plenty of booze and chicks to go around.
I am also going to a couple of Halloween events to take pictures for the newspaper I work for, so that should be some fun.,
Wow the last time I did dress up I went as Sgt. Bilko right after the movie came out. I couldn't tell you what grade it was, maybe 6th or 7th.

I haven't dressed up in a few years. I think the last time I did it was for a party in college where I went as Arthur Dent from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

I have kids. It's actually a pretty good costume, but you cannot see out of the eyes, so I carefully cut them out and added the white mesh from a pair of board shorts in place. I would post my costume that I bought, but I never actually had a chance to wear it out, as it's rather "adult" in nature and was highly inappropriate to wear out in public while taking the kids trick or treating.
Maybe I'll get to wear it next year to a party or something.

I'm going as a African shaman, with nothing but a grass skirt, mask, and pointy stick. It's going to be hilarious, especially when I'll yell absurd tribal chants.

It's actually nearly impossible to see out of the eyes when it's anything close to bright around you (strange), so I ended up cutting them out and replacing them with the white mesh from a pair of board shorts.

I think what they ended up doing for the movies is creating lenses. Spider-man wore a faceplate underneath, then the mask over that and then the eye lenses were inserted into the sockets. At least in Spider-man 2.
Its always pretty interesting. Spider-man is one of the few characters that translates to screen so easily.

I mentioned throwing a company Halloween party but there was no interest, the other reporters are all Baptists, one is a preacher on the side so Halloween didn't go over with them.
I won't dress up but I will be photographing a haunted house for the paper and watching my usual mix of gory slasher films.

I got you all beat. I am dressing up as a photographer for a local weekly newspaper. I even got a camera and everything. For authenticity sake I am even going to photograph a haunted house and print the pictures in the local newspaper.
Alright fine I have no Halloween spirit anymore, this insane election has drained me of all optimism.

I've seen what the Rat looks like, and he looks a lot like my cousin. Which is pretty funny because where he used to live was very near where my cousin lives.
