Title: Readers, Contribute to the NWR Hype Meter
Post by: JusDBerube on August 17, 2015, 05:15:35 AM

We are cooking up a new Feature and need to know what games you are hyped for.

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/feature/40874/readers-contribute-to-the-nwr-hype-meter

Remember the good old days when you could crack open a Nintendo Power and see what games readers wanted the most? Well, those days are sadly gone. The good news is that we are going to do something similar here on NWR!

We are asking our readers to send us an ordered list of their most anticipated games coming to Nintendo platforms. This list should be between five and ten titles in length with your most hyped game being ranked one, and the least hyped at ten.

Those submissions can be sent to: hype@nintendoworldreport.com

Thanks for contributing and we hope you look forward to seeing the results in the near future!

Good idea. You guys should put a link to a list of upcoming games here in the article so we don't have to go searching b/c we can't remember everything.

Is this for Just Nintendo published games like Xenoblade X and Fire Emblem Fates, or can we include games published by other companies on Nintendo Platforms like Shin Magami Tensi X Fire Emblem and Guitar Hero Live?

And can we include games that are not certain to come here like that new Rhythm Heaven game?

I can't wait to see how high "Retro's next game, whatever it is" ranks on the list.

Actually, though, I always did like the Hype chart in Nintendo Power though it could get kind of boring with one game always #1. (Like Twilight Princess being #1 for like 24 months in a row.)

I find the top ten sales charts to be more fascinating sometimes with the games that would pop up on there.

Still, I'm in.

My list included several things I doubt will be on anyone else's, though not as many as it would if EA still released FIFA on Nintendo hardware.

That much hype for Dankey Kang, huh?

Pretty cool idea, now I need to figure out what is actually coming to Nintendo platforms other than the few obvious titles.

"Retro's next game, so long as it isn't DKCR or anything 2D platform (unless it's Metroid Dredd)".

I've always liked the Power Charts in Nintendo Power, so I think this could be an interesting feature here. One reason I liked them is that they were a nice snapshot of what was popular at the time.

That's kind of the idea. Not sure how often we'll do this, but I'd hope to do it maybe like once a quarter if it turns out well.

Nearly 60 games have been nominated as of about an hour and a half ago.

If you can't remember it, then you aren't hyped for it.

I know, I didn't mean to sound like Nintendo has no games coming or anything, just I haven't had time for a while until recently to pay much attention to or play video games (funemployment ftw).  I sent in my list, a lot more cool games than I thought are coming.
