Title: Terraria Finally Confirmed For Wii U, 3DS

The indie hit will be playable in the land of its leak next week

After being leaked by the German game ratings board a few months ago, Terraria has finally been confirmed for release on 3DS and Wii U.

Published by 505 Games, the game will land in early 2016 and will feature extensive multiplayer; the 3DS version will have 4 player local play, while the Wii U will support 4 player local using Wii Remotes splitscreen and 8 player online.

The game will be playable at next week's Gamescom expo.

Let's hope it's based on 1.3 (the latest content update).

Already own this on PC and Android, but I'll gladly get a console version. I like the multiplayer options that they are offering. Hoping that they include a cross-buy option.
