Activision has released details of the returning Dark editions of Skylanders, and there will be exclusive content for Nintendo consoles.

The console versions of Skylanders Trap Team came with a Dark edition, which will be returning for Superchargers this fall. The Wii U and Wii versions of the game will both come with a Kaos trophy that unlocks game content, a double-sided poster and the figures Dark Spitfire and Dark Hot Streak. The Wii U version will have a Dark Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and a Dark Barrel Blaster, while the Wii version will come with Dark Hammer Slam Bowser and the Dark Clown Cruiser.

The Dark versions will be available on launch day, and will be demonstrated for the first time at San Diego Comic-Con.

So yes UncleBob, this means you have to buy 2 copies of the Wii U version, a copy of the 3DS version and a copy of the Wii version to get all of the Skymiibo.

And a copy of the game for a MS or Sony system to get the Dark version of the figure and vehicle that's exclusive to those sets.

5 starters minimum to get 7 characters, 6 vehicles and the action piece.

It's okay, Activision, my wife didn't really need the life-saving surgery...

Bet the surgery was to ensure she could live without both kidneys since he sold them off to afford all of these kits!
