Un slime approachment! Ton command?
It turns out Fire Emblem Awakening wasn't the last 3DS RPG localization to spill out unintentionally.
In an appearance at Paris's Japan Expo, Dragon Quest series creator Yuji Hori confirmed that the games would be localized for France, at least:

Horii actually did mention 3DS for Dragon Quest VII and VIII localization. The translator got upset when he did.
— MakuXV (@RedMakuzawa) July 4, 2015No release date has been given for the European release, nor official confirmation that the game would come to North America. Dragon Quest VII released in Japan for the 3DS in 2013, while Dragon Quest VIII releases in Japan on August 27.
Whoa. Okay, then it must get released in NA, right?
Dragon Quest IX was a success with help from Nintendo, same for other niche Japanese games like Monster Hunter, Bravely Default and Fire Emblem, so long as they don't push them out the door with little to no fanfare 7 & 8 could do great in the west.Whoa. Disaster: Day of Crisis, Tingle's Rosey Ruppeeland, & that Fatal Frame 2 Wii remake say "hi". Even if it does come out in NA, it'll flop just like all the other DQ games have. I wouldn't be surprised if they got outsold by the Danganronpa games on the Vita.
