It was just supposed to be an innocent day in the Sonic universe. Cast aside by a fans after a series of failures, Sonic scheduled a picnic with all of his close friends, attempting to show off himself and display his awesomeness. He knew that diehard fans were still desperately clinging to him for a new game, and he wanted to host the event as a show of good faith; he still cared and still wanted to do well.
But all was not looking well when the evil Dr. Robotnik intervened. Even though the Sonic games keep him in his job, he can't bear to think about his arch nemesis winning anything without a challenge. This time around, Eggman is prepared to raise the stakes. Now, inside every picnic basket, the bad doctor has added bombs and other items fit for ruining any good event!

Why would I pick the bomb word? Lucariofan99 should since he is at the end of the selection order. It is always the last player in the selection to choose as they would be automatically eliminated in a poor bomb word choice.

While that was funny last game, I have to admit, letting Insanolord get close to victory but fall short feels better in the long run. Wishing you much success there, buddy!

Sonic 06 is such an experience though. You have to play it once just to fully get the picture of the game. It's such an interesting failure.

Sonic 06. Given when it was released, technology was advanced to a point where silly glitches shouldn't be so common in a mainstream game. Although that game is also an inexcusable failure.

This means that lucariofan has failed miserably. Not only is he forced to choose his own bomb word, but he has to in the first round! He couldn't kill the other thirteen contestants.
Poor, poor Knuckles. Blown to smithereens. And lucariofan with him.
So, since lucariofan was unable to kill anyone, everyone only gets one ring. Robotnik's Delightfully Devious Emporium will be opening shortly. Save those rings or send them in for a chance at getting an item!

So we're going to use the 4kids voice actors for Sonic 06, even though we could probably get better voice actors for pretty much everyone except for Eggman.
Anyways, Joe was put in charge of doing some between the level filler and I said to him, "you should do a thing where one of the soldiers tells you to find the captain or something and you go around the entire city just to find out that the soldier who gave you this mission was the captain the entire time"
I mean wouldn't that be so stupid??? I mean you could just talk to the soldier/captain right after you get the quest to finish the whole thing, anyways I can't wait to see what Joe comes up with.

But what if what is wrong is right? And therefore the right must be wrong? If this is true than the decision for a choice that is right by not being wrong could be wrong by being right or right by being wrong. This opens up the door for multiple routes, where the right becomes blurred and the wrong becomes entangled in what was perceived as the truth.

Due to a series of meetings popping up this week SW5 will have to take a temporary hiatus. It will resume when I return.

We've got Soren putting out the Disarray. He hasn't done well in these games for a while but it looks like he's rearing to make a comeback! Definitely someone to look out for.

It's essentially similar to the Safe Guess from the last game. So despite it being a tough call and a technicality in nature, I'll allow it. Soren lives on, but Stratos scrapes by.
However, since he would have blown up originally, the bomb word control therefore belongs to Soren.

When I started work on Sonic 06 we wanted to do something big. We wanted to create the best Sonic Game yet... now we'll be lucky if we can get the game to a point where the player can reach the final boss... and there's a mighty fine chance we won't even be able to pull that off...
Half of the Dev Team has gone off to work on a Wii game and we're expected to be able to ship the game by Christmas, Sega's corporate office expects us to finish the 360 version first despite the fact that development primarily took place on the PS3.
It's ironic that the level we're working on is called "Crisis City" because that's what Sonic Team Headquarters is like right now...
We cannot make Sonic 06 a good game... but at the very least we can make it playable...
We can't afford to make many more new levels or environments anymore, we just don't have time... but fans have supported this franchise for 15 years and we owe it to them to do everything we can to make this game the best we can... we cannot make this game 'good' but perhaps we can at least show them that we did everything we could against impossible odds to make it an enjoyable experience...
