The fifth installment of spooky ghost photography series has been given an official English title: Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. It will be releasing in North America this fall.

The game uses the GamePad's gyroscope for full camera control, while the action is shown from a third person perspective on the TV screen. No specific release date has yet been set, and it is still unknown whether the game will feature a full English voice track or a Japanese option.

We'll have more news as it surfaces from the murky depths.

Great news! This should have been part of the digital event for the mature audiences.

I'm surprised this is coming so soon - but I guess that shooting for an October release would be wise right?
Another game I'm really excited about and look forward to hearing more about.

Yeah, it's a bit confusing and astonishing what was and what wasn't left out of the Digital Event. Things could have been so much better if games from the Micro Direct, stuff from the Smash Direct and such were switched out with some of what the Digital Event showed.
