Forumers, we need to rise up to get justice for Pokepal148 in this matter and maybe any other matter in which he may have been unjustly treated. For far too long, we have let injustice rule these forums but I say, no more! Instead of accepting injustice, I say it is time we distributed justice! Who's with me? Okay, so those are my two options. I have to give this some thought.
Those two options are not mutually exclusive.
True. Continuing on in that frame thought, if Lucariofan99 is the only one here, then it would only make sense for him to have the authority to control the forum and look after it as he sees fit. Thus, if Lucariofan99 has the top admin powers, then he'll be able to shape the forum as he sees fit. This means if he wants to unban people, he could do so as he was given these forums to do as he pleases with them. Thus, I expect to be back. And a moderator to boot! Working with Lucariofan99, we could pick and choose who to unban and create a super forum the likes of which will be the envy of the entire internet! Lucariofan99 and myself as mods? You know you'll want to be there for that! It's all logical so far!
However, Lucariofan99 did say he doesn't hold grudges so if he was telling the truth, he'd probably unban everyone and let everyone post here again. I think we all have to admit, that would be a pretty big example of kindness and forgiveness on his part especially with the way the moderators have treated him lately. Still, even if everyone came back, the status quo would be changed with Lucariofan99 and myself as top moderators. Which again is why it will never happen. Logic!
Thinking more about this hypothetical forum utopia, I'd probably give S-U-P-E-R moderator powers as well since you know he has some loose cannon tendencies. Pokepal148 would get some moderator powers akin to UncleBob because following the Insanolord school of moderation, you want other mods that make you look better by comparison. Due to that better comparison, I'd let Insanolord stay on as a moderator as well in return for allowing this utopia to happen and keep him as community manager so that if things go south, he's got the title and gets the blame. It's perfect. I'd throw stevey a bone and make him a moderator as well because it's always good to hear from a dissenting minority opinion which you can laugh at as you then disregard their advice and do the opposite. Megabyte would have to stay because he's got the technical knowledge which is too irreplaceable. Plus, his bad cop toughness would work well with my good cop persona. I'd definitely see to it that he gets more forum glory and fear than the current regime lets him have.
That's 6 and I'd have one more moderator for lucky number 7 but I would make that moderator position a yearly forum election. That will make it more of a popularity contest but it does mean that whoever wins is clearly posting stuff that enough other forum users like to be willing to give that poster such power. The added bonus is that if they dislike how the elected mod uses that power or if the poster stops making their quality posts and someone else then becomes more popular, the elected mod can be booted out thus always leaving the forum members with a goal and a carrot to strive after which creates a perpetual cycle of high quality posts in order to get to that end point. Genius! But what else would you expect from a Khushrenada forum utopia?
