Title: Did anyone notice something at the end of MF?
Post by: MysticGohan on July 04, 2003, 08:49:40 AM
That the music when the credits roll sound exactly like the ending music in The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past. It's just intresting, but I didn't see Konji Kondo (sp?) name anywhere and I'm sure he did the composing for most of the Zelda games, either way it was intresting to hear it in MF.

I thought most of you would of knew. Looks like Matthew knew what it meant.
Let's go through this, MP= Metroid Prime MF= Metroid Fusion.
I'm sure I'm not the only one to notice this about the music during the rolling credits.

That's an interesting prospect- I've beaten MF twice but I never really paid attention to the ending credits music. I'll listen closer next time, but I'm not quite sure what LttP's ending music sounds like either since it's been a while since I beat it. Good find, though.

Yeah Mouse_Clicker, it's been a few years since I've played lttp but I still clearly remember the music during the ending and it matches perfectly with MF. After a few seconds when the credits start rolling in mf the lttp ending theme will start to play.
I was surprised, especially considering that it was a metroid game. It takes me back, once I heard it I instantly knew where it originated.
I still own the original lttp on my snes, although I need new controllers as my old ones have given into the one thing that doesn't stop "Time".
Personally I think lttp had the best music ever, especially when the Triforce is displayed in the background as the credits roll.
I'm just intrigued that it was in mf, I wonder if nintendo has done this before?
