Nintendo announced the localization of Fatal Frame in today's Nintendo Direct.
The game features use of the Wii U Gamepad as a camera, and will come out this fall after its October 2014 Japan release.

Nintendo is doing good damage control. This is spectacular news! Not many people had hope for this game getting localized!

This is fantastic news.
I had totally written this game off, figuring it just wouldn't come out in the west... but dearly wanted it after importing both Fatal Frame games for Wii. Strongly doubt there will be (for me) any better news coming out of a Nintendo Direct this year.

I'm really excited for this but also kinda nervous. I really hope I can play this without standing up or sitting in a swivel chair.
