True. But I did antagonize the mods for years in preparation for a situation like this. I figured that if Anti-Khushrenada were to ever escape, the mods might ban him before he could gain enough power to threaten these forums by thinking it was me trying to create a duplicate account. And since they would be looking for ways to get back at me for my antagonism towards them, they would hopefully do their job and strike him down right away. Unfortunately, they didn't. Even when Anti-Khushrenada posted outside the funhouse and destroyed a thread in another forum, they stood pat. Instead, Insanolord praised Anti-Khushrenada as a good poster. Anti-Khushrenada gives out friendly posts but the flattery doesn't work because you can tell he's a cold manipulator only interested in destroying this place.

I give out sarcastic and stupid posts but they are loved because you can tell that I'm smart and hiding the love I have for people here behind a mask of coldness.

Sadly, some people just can't seem to realize that.

Gotta love how I bite the hand that feeds me as it were. Thanks mods for all your help in this! ;D

The few times that Unclebob did do something only served to make this a more confusing situation. If only you had been given the moderator powers you so rightly deserve, maybe this whole thing could have turned out so much better.

This is good forum with good people. When I first come here, I not know anybody. They treat me a bit rough. They upset with the Khushrenada kidnapping. But I am upset with the whole Khushrenada kidnapping so I understand. I forgive them and they forgive me. Now, we all part of one big community of good posters. Except you. Anti-Khushrenada just gave us the answer. He created this rift be being able to break through the confines of the funhouse to post elsewhere in the forums. Therefore, if his energy created the rift, then we would need the opposite of that energy to close the rift. We need to nullify his personality and energy to make this forum whole again.

Well, I guess I'll do it. I've taken on the responsibility of holding back Anti-Khushrenada all these years so it's only right I keep on performing that responsibility. Plus, it seems the folks here at NWR don't seem to care if I'm around or not. No one even went looking for me when I was trapped in that old post for 3 days.

It was my fault accepting the kidnapping job from Anti-Khushrenada that got us all into this great big but highly entertaining and really well written job. Seriously. You should be getting a Webby Award for this high calibre class of story. It is only right I do my part as well to fix this. Plus, I am still the greatly upset over how Anti-Khushrenada beat me in a fight once before. I want the rematch with this jerky jerk face. Give me the power!

Picture this. You're in the shops, shopping for eggs. It's 4:30 in the morning, you woke up in a cold sweat with a burning desire for eggs. You casualy glance around the egg section, looking for the perfect carton of eggs. Then RUMBLE NOISE AND RUMBLE SENSATION. There's something coming, it's coming fast and all over the place. The not yet awake store clerk scratches his neck.

CRUSH. "SORRY, I HAVE TO DELIVER TWO TICKETS TO PARADISE"

An 18 Wheeler has burst thru the wall, knocking down various small goods. You've been struck by a smooth turtle wax.

This is 18 Wheeler, a life altering experience by Sega's AM2 or 3. One of them. Published by the successful company Acclaim. It's a mish mash of previous Sega games, like Crazy Taxi, Crazy Taxi and Crazy Taxi. Except you don't pick goons up to drive them to KFC and the game isn't called Crazy Taxi. Rather, you're given very detailed instructions at the start of each level by a blubber ball, such as 'deliver this on time' or 'you'd better make it on time'. I think he actually taught me about life, I owe this game a lot. You have to deliver garbage like boats or crates of empty code. Then you're off. OFF.

The first thing that'll strike you is the incredible graphics. The arcade game was ported to Dreamcast, then PlayStation 2, then GameCube. So you just know its history is quality goodness. Low res blurry textures that only stretch out an inch or so before becoming bland lumps of solid colour, disgustingly beautiful lens flare that fills the screen with white, nice thick 50Hz borders (exclusive to PAL version). It's quite a wonder how they managed to get this running on what limited technology we have these days.

Blubber Ball (Blubs for short) has a big whinge as soon as you start, reminding you to get there on time. I think he has vagina pains if you're a second too late. "Sorry sir" "ARR, MY VAGINA"
So you obviously must hurry! Nothing gets in the way of your 18 wheeler, cars gets pushed aside, overhead signs break, entire houses implode as you throttle over them. Killing thousands of Pikmin. Trees though, or even shrubs by the side of the road. WATCH OUT. These can stop you dead in your tracks.

You have a very VERY limited amount of time to get to the destination, your boss' vagina will cramp up on him and he'll double over and cry. So of course there are black trucks you can total to earn some more time. Why just the other day I blew up a truck because I was late to a meeting. OF THE MINDS. Also, there's Mean Face McMean. He's a rival trucker, and he's very angry. He'll invade your radio proclaiming to get out of his way. He'll try and push you into oncoming traffic or dump his load in front of you.
"I WILL LOSE MY CARGO TO SLOW YOU DOWN, GREENHORN! GLOBBLE GLOBBLE GLOBBLE"

You can't kill him, sadly. If you beat him to the destination however, you'll be rewarded with a parking challenge. Park the truck, win a prize. It's like, a new horn or steering wheel. Seriously. There are FOUR amazing levels in this game, each will take about three to ten minutes to finish, so you can be sure this game will last forever.

When you finish the last level, you get to see your trucker wiggle their flab out of the truck and wave to you. Then it goes back to the title screen, I shed a tear.

Music is of awesome quality, it's lots of banjos and garbage bin lids. There's also a two player mode (yes, they thought of everything!) which is quite amusing. You have to pick up stuff fast. FAST LIKE THE SONIC.

I think I will try out my new rating system, it's in BETA stage.

It's so good your face will look a bit like that when you realize you've spent money on it. I know I did!

The reason for that is that that was what console games looked like when I first started wanting such a game. I figured Nintendo wasn't offering such a title on the N64 because of technical limitations or because the development time would have taken too long to get the game out while the N64 was still current. I just assumed that such a title would show up on the Gamecube.

I guess it sort of did but somehow Nintendo figured out a way to completely **** it all up. Pokemon Colosseum was really the Other M of the Gamecube. The Gamecube era was pretty frustrating because it seemed like Nintendo dropped the ball on every chance they had. You want to sell Gamecubes? You release a proper Pokemon RPG on it, that's effectively a full 3D take on the handheld games, and every Pokemon fan will have to own one. Oh and if you're really clever you make the handheld and console games have exclusive Pokemon so that they have to use the Cube-GBA connectivity to catch 'em all. Is that not the most OBVIOUS idea in the world? Nintendo's strategy has effectively been to make it so that a Pokemon fan ONLY has to have a Nintendo handheld to get a worthwhile Pokemon experience. What the **** stupid "throw money down the shitter" strategy is that? So the GBA is a huge success while Nintendo scratches their heads wondering why the Cube flounders.

For a good comparison, imagine if Nintendo kept Mario platformers strictly on consoles because that's what he was associated with. So no Super Mario Land games on the Game Boy and no NSMB on the DS. Wouldn't that have been ridiculously stupid? Yet I hear the decision to keep the "real" Pokemon games on the handhelds defended in this very way - that Pokemon is inherently a handheld series and must be kept as such. Yet Mario, Metroid and Zelda are allowed to go to handhelds. Kirby started off on the Game Boy but no one cares that real Kirby games appear on consoles. If Nintendo was so strict about keeping their other franchises on their "native" platform would the Game Boy even have lasted long enough for Pokemon to have been created?

They could make a console Pokemon game now but it wouldn't matter. The timing for such a title was ten years ago. That's why everyone talks MMO because THAT is the obvious console Pokemon to make in 2013.

Both just admit that Nintendo bungled the Zelda storyline. There is no way to rationalize it that would be satisfying unless Nintendo went back in time and did it right the first time. Zelda is unfortunately a great series of games with an incoherent broken continuity.

It's actually a good sum up of Nintendo as a company - astonishingly talented in some ways and ridiculously stupid in others. Only someone who is somehow both a genius and a moron could have made the Zelda series.

But Microsoft still is better than Nintendo. Heck, so is a colecovision these days.

It makes it so the publisher can still make SOME money from a used game sale (and all a Online Pass is needed for is multiplayer). And DLC is often a good thing because it lets them expand a game with new stuff like characters, weapons, etc. Look at Mass Effect, they kept adding DLC packs to expand the story and multiplayer.

You don't have to buy an Online Pass if you buy it new, new copies come with a code for you to enter. I think you are mixing it up with a Season Pass. Only people who buy it used have to buy a Online Pass. And if you don't have Internet, it won't effect you anyways because the Online Pass is for playing a game online (hence ONLINE Pass). If you don't have Internet, then why would you care about playing it online?

You do know that the Online Pass for Kingdoms of Amalur (which, again, is FREE in all new copies of the game) is only to unlock 7 additional quests in the game. The base game requires no code. Also, that is the only game that requires it for single player, but like I said it only has it for an extra 7 missions.

I am not gonna defend on-disc DLC, I think it's bullshit for them to charge you to unlock content already included. I am fine with on-disc DLC when its free, but not when it gets charged money.

Um, $870? Also, DLC is OPTIONAL. No one is forcing you to buy that extra content. Do you whine about stuff like better car stereos for your car? No one is forcing you to pay for that new content. I guess you also never bought PC expansion packs. You think you are entitled to get all DLC for free, despite developers having to spend time and resources creating them just like they did with the game? The movie and music industry hate used sales too, they just have no way to fight it.

And what Mass Effect game has $870 worth of DLC? ME 3 has $50 worth of storyline DLC. Even adding in all DLC (like skinpacks, and the content that was free with the Deluxe version of the game), it adds up to $60. ME2 had even less than that. Hell, you could but all 3 console versions of ME3 AND all of the DLC for all 3 versions, and it would still be less than $870. I don't even know if there is any game that has $900 worth of DLC.

*She said over 20 Wii U titles would be playable (there werent)
*She said Smash Bros. was in development (the game did not start development until about 6 months later)
*She said Soulcalibur V would be a launch game (no Wii U version even exists)
*She said Rockstar Games was working on a Wii U game (no such game has ever been announced)

Then there is the fact that she is a complete and utter ~~****~~!*

I admit, it may be starting to look that way but that wasn't the point. I just wanted to show two radically different extremes but with Anti-Khushrenada being the more negative extreme and the one people would most like to see gone after his initial "positive" image. Well, NWR, it's just you and me again. But's that alright. I think we make a great combination.

This whole wild adventure has been quite the trip. And it's caused me to end up quite reflective of things as well. It's been a reminder of the extremes a person can have within them. A mixture of good and bad where even the bad can have some good and the good some bad. While it may be impossible to achieve a perfect balance, it seems preferable to me than the extremes my alter egos displayed. Thus, I will keep fighting to maintain that sense of balance while erring on the sides of caution or hilarity and remembering that sometimes there are points to learn from the extremes that may be of benefit. But above all, to make sure I keep posting with a gesture of civility to my fellow posters. After all, a post with no civility only gives rise to massive flamewars. When flame wars are decivilized both victory and defeat become miserable, and the mods no longer lend a helping hand. I love twisting Gundam Wing quotes to suit my needs.

And to think this all started when I just wanted to create a positive thread about myself with a user that was NotKhushrenada after 3 threads attacking me in the funhouse. That's right. It's a twist ending folks. I was everyone. This was all in my head. Bet you didn't see that coming. It was either that or this forum was in modern times all along. I think I made the right choice here again.
