Title: Safe Words 2! Sign-ups closed. Now with a theme!

Since the first round was such a huge and massive success, (No surprise since I came up with the idea ;) ) and because I care about the community here and making these forums great unlike Pokepal148 based on his posts, (You thought I was going to take another shot at Insanolord? Please. It's been done and he's pretty much admitted he's working to make the forums suck by fighting me at every turn) I have listened to the demands of the Funhouse people and we will have a second round of Don't Say the Magic Word Safe Words! Had to change the name after UncleBob made the brand toxic with his 3rd party shovelware. >:(
In addition, there will be a poll for you to vote on. This game really could have a lot of variants to it much like Mafia but I don't see a need to go crazy with it. It's still fresh and doesn't need to be spruced up as it were. That said, I believe in being adaptable so the poll talks about some potential changes that could happen. Feel free to vote on them and if something gets a lot of support, I'll implement it. The potential changes:
1. New words to choose from for every round.
2. No automatic eliminations. A new round is played if the bomb word is the only word left.
3. Stricter deadlines for players to choose a word.
4. The host chooses the bomb word each round but informs the recently eliminated player what it is to keep things on the up and up but eliminates wait times.
Those are the things that I feel might help keep things moving and fresh. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
This time, I'll leave sign-ups open for the week and we can start this Sunday 11:00 pm EST.
Finally, I thought we'd go with a theme this time. If you sign-up and would like to contribute a word to use in the word selection pool, please state what it is. The theme will be NWR related words. So, you could post a thread title, username or word of some significance to these forums. It's up to you to suggest what you'd like.

5. The Bomb word isn't the only special word in each round.
i.e. a Replay word in round 1. (Choose again) a Subordinate word in round 2 (next person gets your word, you get theirs instead) a SAFE word in round 6 (allows you immunity from bomb word in next round only - if bomb word chosen, it randomizes to 1 of remaining words) A Restart/Reshuffle word - bomb word randomized and all chosen words for the round are back in play. round extended to allow 2nd choice for all players who went prior to reshuffle should the bomb word not be chosen before hand.

Here's more of Spak-Spang's suggestions besides what he posted in the first game's sign-up thread:
1) Let players pick in the order they want to pick. So the host should release the words into the wild, and once the last player picks a word (There can be a day limit so inactive results in death.) It is the players responsibility to pick words nobody else picked. The second or even third players that pick the same word automatically are killed that game.
This allows the game to be faster and give players more incentive to go to the thread faster and see what is available. Just treat each round as a days in mafias.
2) Words must be bold to count, and used in sentences. Multiple words are allowed but make sure you don't repeat. When using multiple words and making a sentence it is only one sentence...not several. This allows players to get creative with the words.
3) Have special items or abilities. Protection for a bomb blast. Suicide Bomber...if you blast next turn you take someone with you. Assassin, if you find the Bomb next turn you can kill the person that posted before or after you...instead of yourself.

Cool, man, cool.
So, the poll helped resolve nothing. That's the NWR spirit! The way I'll take it is this way. For this who voted to implement all changes, it is like an extra vote has been cast in each separate option. That brings the top 2 up to 4 votes apiece which is still a tie. But considering that only 2 players have contributed a word so far for this game that it is a theme game making word selection a bit harder, I think having new words each round is out and will slow things down. We will just go with option B which is no automatic eliminations.
Now, again, if you want to submit and NWR related words or phrases for this game, you can do so now by posting in this thread or messaging me a suggestion. I'll kick this off later tonight, since I have this pesky thing called work that keeps interfering with my forum participation at the moment, by sending out a quick pm to all players along with the order for selecting. Fun fun!

So... thought occurs to me. Why not let the last person in each round PM you the bomb word. Thus puts their life into their own hands - they should pick a word that they think someone else will choose - and they die if they're wrong.

This has been ignored. It has nothing to do with the NWR theme. How is it relevant to this site or its forum history? Here are the words / phrases I currently have selected. Last chance to make an adjustment before the game begins.

I told everyone they could in the opening post of this thread. The offer was there for over a week. Oohhboy's upset that he missed out on participating this round and you're complaining about not being able to choose a word. I can only do so much people! I've led you to the water but it is up to you to drink it!
