Title: Favorite winter wonderlands in games?

I'm going to post two, and then you guys and gals can post how ever many you want! If you can post pictures and a short description for your choices, great. If not, that's okay!
From the chill music to the idyllic landscape, I adore Phendrana Drifts every time I visit it. It helps that it's an area from one of my favorite games of all time!
Without a doubt my favorite wholly new track in Mario Kart 8, Mount Wario is a blistering fast ride down the titular mountain, starting at a drop from a plane onto the summit, through icy slopes, into a water-filled cavern, across the side of a dam in an anti-gravity segment, through a heavily wooded canyon, and then down a ski course to the finish. I love the progression of this place, and I try to always choose it when I see it online!

I don't have pictures but my favorite snow levels, if that is what you are asking, are easy. The first snow level in Super Mario 64 with the giant Penguin race down the mountain. My second is the snow levels in Toe Jam and Earl 2 Panic on Funkotron on Sega Genesis. For that its basically all of them I love them all but my favorite is I think level 7, its been a while since I played.

Good choices! Yeah, I mean levels that are based in winter or icy conditions!

It's already been mentioned, but I just played through Phendrana Drifts in my eShop copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy, and it's a pretty great environment, even though those snow beasts that you have to take out the shell on their backs are huge pains in the ass.
Also, I'll say that not every thread is going to get a huge response, but don't let that deter you. Lots of my threads, and way, way more of Khushrenada's, don't really catch on. If Khush's constant, unremitting failure hasn't broken his spirit, don't let one disappointing thread stop you.

I think its just a hard topic, how many snow themed or winter themed levels are there in video games? I can't think of that many of the top of my head. I guess I could add the snow level in TMNT 2 for NES or the ones from Duck Tales they were pretty good.

The Summit in Fantasy Life is pretty, er, cool, with the nice calming music... which especially works at night!
Also, how has no one mentioned Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze yet? Something about winter is right there in the title! The final world is an ice world for once and it's pretty neat, plus it contains some of the best music in the game.

(MGS) Shadow Moses Island is.....nice? I don't know, I like it though. Wouldn't call it a winter wonderland or positive in any sense of the word, but I always liked it.

I loved that killer hack/shortcut on the N64 Frappe Snowland.
The SNES Donkey Kong Country's first snow level was very atmospheric. Loved the music.
And I can never forget my time in the snow worlds of Mario 64 either. That silly baby penguin was funny to play with.

Also, winter in the various Animal Crossing games is pretty neat. It makes for a really nice environment.

All of Snowboard Kids 2. Even the stages without any snow...
