Post by: Shaymin on August 12, 2014, 07:34:35 AM
Two different French websites, including a general gaming one, are reporting Wii U versions of insanolord's second favorite game. http://www.nintendo-town.fr/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=26824:pro-evolution-soccer-2015-arrive-sur-wii-u&catid=84:wii2&Itemid=232 http://www.jeuxvideo.com/news/2014/00073040-pes-2015-les-details.htm

It took time, but PES 2015 is now officially announced by Konami. An episode which will be a first step towards the eighth generation of consoles, an eagerly awaited by many fans of the series forward. 's first news however, is that owners of PS3 and 360 will not be forgotten since PES 2015 will also be released on these media (therefore giving PS3, 360, PS4 , One and Wii U ). The bad news is that for now, the PC does not seem concerned.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 arrives on Wii U
Konami takes advantage of the opportunity of this lack of competition and confirmed that Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 arrives on Wii U at the same time as the PS3 versions, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. A very good news for the players of the Nintendo console. The editor also probably finding his account leaving the game on Wii U in Japan,
By the way, if this is true that would mean Fox Engine runs on Wii U, so it could lead to Wii U not getting Metal Gear V out of spite instead of engine factors.

Pro Evo doesn't have MLS, and is therefore dead to me.

I'd be excited.

Xbox Gamecom thing has ended right now.
Tomb Raider became exclusive -- but who gives a ****? I am waiting on Temple of Osiris.
Quantum Break "gameplay" was third person cover shooter #3454, only you can't die, because time just stops if you're in any danger. Sorta Max Payne-ish, but looks very underwhelming.
The only thing i watched this thing for was Scalebound.
There was no Scalebound.

GIANT FACT: If they release PES on Wii U, no one will buy it.

I'm on record as a massive, massive soccer fan, have spent hundreds of hours in soccer video games, have bought pretty much every game released on Wii U, in some cases multiple times, and even I wouldn't buy it.

This game is also on the PS3 and X360 so you figure that THAT version is what the Wii U gets a port of, not the PS4/XB1 version.
When you're getting exciting about multiplatform SPORTS GAMES then your console is in deep ****. That's like the kind of routine release Atari Jaguar fans would get hyped about.

Nobody's "getting hyped." We're commenting on a rumored unannounced game, as people will on pretty much any system.

If anything they'll have a bunch of interns spend an afternoon porting it over then release it on the eshop.

I'm pretty sure any engine, no matter how complicated, can be scaled to work on Wii U. It's all about money.

Considering the status of multiplat sports titles on Wii U...
I said this last year, Konami could pounce with a digital only release of the PES series and it could fill the void left by EA. Unfortunately, sales of Wii U versions of games prove that even being the only game in town is a failure.

I'm not a soccer fan but FIFA 13 is a really fun game and uses the gamepad pretty well in my opinion. It's a shame that sports games just don't sell on Nintendo platforms, that's the one area that being Nintendo only has been an issue for me, no college football games in the past decade, no Tiger Woods for the past few years (even with how incredibly good 11/12 were on the Wii), and now basically nothing at all on the Wii U.

PS4 isn't even getting the new Tomb Raider. Pathetic.

Yes it is. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris (or whatever it's called). Rise of the Tomb Raider is Xbone exclusive (timed exclusive I bet).

Too bad if this is true as I just picked up FIFA on Wii U and probably wouldn't buy more than one game from a specific sport on a platform.

theres no point in making a game exclusive if its to a series that is 18 years old and has already waned in popularity.
