Ther is ONE guy, though, who maintains that Wind Waker is the kiddiest game ever, yet he owns a Gamecube (he camped out with me), he loved Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, and loves Super Monkey Ball and Dance Dance Revolution (2 games that generally indicate you don't care what other people think about you if you play them). He hasn't even played Wind Waker and refuses to do so. I gave up on trying to convince him- missing out on such an experience is punishment in of itself.

I feel sorry for him. As for my friends, one plays mainly RPGs, and though he doesn't have a system, PS2 would probably his first choice. He plays SSBM with us though, but refuses to play Monkey Ball because we always beat him using Baby. My other just plays games on his PC, but will play Monkey Ball or whatever else we've got. He loves Sonic Adventure Battle 2. One owns an Xbox, but always says that he like PS2 and Gamecube just as much, and the other one owns a PS2 and Gamecube, and he'll play Halo a bit if the Xbox guy brings it. Those're the dudes I play video games with, so there was never any reason why we should debate.

It is pretty pointless. There are some people who every now and then actually know games as well as you do, but even they use the same pointless points, so you never really know which is which - the idiot or the gamer idiot who bought the Xbox.

I did have an ongoing debate with a kid on the bus about whether Xbox or Cube was better. By the end I had him down to the point that his only argument was that the GC's game discs broke too easily, then school ended. Sad how he tried to hold on to his M$ brainwashing so long.

Heh. I was right there being the voice of doom on the PSX, and I was right there with the same thing on the PS2 and the Xbox too. The problem is that my logic is still pretty much correct on why they SHOULD have failed. They just didn't, and it really bothers me that the mass market just doesn't see it...
Ah well, it's about time for me to foretell the death of the PS3 and Xbox2.

One crap thing about one of my friends is that even though he has a Gamecube (good on him, I say), he is the biggest wuss and mamma's boy in creation. He got homesick at all out school camps, and his 'date' at our Year 12 Formal (or Prom for you Americans) was his 21 year old cousin, for crying out loud. And he went all out in a limo and everything. They even went to the afterparty together *shudders*. His cousin is HOT, by the way, so we didn't make to much of a fuss when he introduced her to us.
He's a good bloke, and a GREAT gamer, however. Which reminds me. I haven't seen him since we finished school in October last year. COuld he have changed since then?
Nah, not according to my friends who see him at uni.

I have to agree with that guy. I think wind waker is the kiddiest piece of monkey crap game ever made (I did play it) and I loved all other zelda games. Guess there are some people out there who agree with me. Boy, this really made my day.
