So it's a checkerboard Mario pattern which appears to be ugly as sin, New Super Mario 2 (OK, makes sense) and... Pro Evolution Soccer? A launch game that's probably a tenner? And it's three hundred clams (US)?
Smells like BS to me, but I have a low tolerance for that.

Are we sure this isn't just an older bundle that released around the time of NSMB 2 and only now started appearing on import markets? Japans is always getting some random system bundles and colors.

Found out the deal with it thanks to TinyCartridge: (http://tinycartridge.com/post/89591648092/mario-white-3ds-xl-for-us-region-well-all) Basically, it's a Southeast Asian exclusive (confirmed by Yahoo (http://news.yahoo.com/asia-exclusive-white-mario-3ds-xl-coming-way-084503676.html)) and it's NA-region because that's the region used in Southeast Asia for some reason. *shrug*
