Title: Photos with Mario 3DS AR Application Now Available in the USA

The app is a free download for use with Target-exclusive AR cards.

Photos with Mario, a free application for 3DS that works with a line of Target-exclusive AR cards, is now available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop in the USA.

Players can use this application in conjunction with character-specific AR cards to view and photograph Mario characters in real-world settings. The required cards are sold at Target, accompanied by $10 of eShop credit. Three characters—Mario, Peach, and a Goomba—are available at this time, and they will interact with each other if multiple cards are used simultaneously.

The game has actually been available in Japan since April 2013. Three additional character cards are available there: Koopa Troopa, Luigi, and Bowser. Moreover, Nintendo later released a similar application and cards there based on Animal Crossing. It is unclear whether these additional products may see wider release in the future.

There is currently no word regarding a release for the title in additional territories.

Nintendo is on the low killing it in the space that matters, games creation. I shall take advantage of this deal.

So are these e shop cards each with a different picture or is it a pack of all three cards and $10?

This sounds like something I'd really, really want if the cameras on the 3DS weren't ****.  I just don't think that a lot of the pictures I can take with it are worth sharing because of the quality. :^/

This release must literally be just United States. This is nowhere to be found in the Canadian eShop.
