Title: Does anyone know if...
Post by: Miyamoto on April 30, 2014, 08:18:00 PM
Does anyone know if you can boot Wii U games directly from an SD card on the Wii U via the SD card slot? I assumed that you obviously could, but it looks like you couldn't (at least at launch) is this still the case?

I believe the SD card is only used for Wii software, and if you want to load Wii U stuff you need to either do it from the internal storage or from a USB drive.

I just want to state that your topic title is terrible.

Yeah the SD card is mainly used for either Wii stuff or for some strange reason WiiU save data. Now that we have that out the way. "Does anyone know if..." into a SD card question? I expected more of a payoff from such a clickbate title. Maybe I should not have.

I'm afraid I don't know if. I suggest trying use a 411 directory or the Yellow pages to find him. Hopefully there is some information there to help you get in contact with if.
